The Chairman of the Multi-Agency Task Force Committee on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Barr. Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, today received members of the League of Kano Veteran Journalists at his office.
The engagement provided an opportunity for a fruitful exchange of ideas and discussions on the role of the media in raising public awareness, promoting responsible reporting, and supporting collective efforts towards addressing drug abuse and illicit trafficking in Kano State.
The Chairman appreciated the members of the League for their visit and recognized the important role of experienced journalists in supporting public enlightenment, advocacy, and community mobilization.
The Committee remains committed to strengthening partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including the media, in the collective effort to build a safer and drug-free society.
