The Management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN), under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Professor Haruna Musa, as part of preparations for the forthcoming colloquium being organised by KHAIRUN in his honour.
During the visit, Professor Abdulrashid Garba briefed the BUK Vice Chancellor on the objectives and significance of the colloquium, highlighting its purpose as a platform to celebrate his contributions to academia and acknowledge the enduring relationship between the two institutions.
The KHAIRUN Vice Chancellor expressed profound appreciation to Bayero University for its continued support, mentorship and collaboration, which have contributed significantly to strengthening KHAIRUN’s academic and institutional development. He further requested the support of BUK through the use of its media platforms, including the university’s radio and television stations, to publicise the forthcoming event.
Responding, the Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Professor Haruna Musa, congratulated KHAIRUN Management on the remarkable milestones recorded by the University. He commended Professor Abdulrashid Garba for his consistent efforts in fostering synergy and collaboration with Bayero University, noting that such partnerships are essential to advancing academic excellence and institutional development.
Professor Haruna Musa also extended his congratulations in advance to the KHAIRUN Bursar, Dr. Najaatu Bala Rabiu, on her forthcoming promotion, describing it as a testament to her dedication and service to the University.
He assured KHAIRUN Management of the continued support and cooperation of Bayero University under his stewardship, while expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the visit.
The engagement further underscores the strong bond of collaboration, mentorship and academic partnership between KHAIRUN and BUK, as both institutions continue to work together towards advancing higher education and institutional excellence.
